So the hubs went on to Florida Thursday afternoon. The kids and I busied ourselves with some housework, social dinner at the church that Alex’s daycare is at, and some silly fun with light up bouncy balls. Friday I let all 3 of them take a personal day from school/daycare. We did the serious housecleaning then, not completely finish but enough that the house doesn’t feel so yucky. Friday afternoon my mother in law came and got the kids. She is missing Sean with the anniversary of his death coming up and knowing what Kyle, his sister, and his brother in law are doing this weekend (spreading the ashes). She is having 5 of the 7 grandkids out this weekend to help her get through it.
Last night went well, after the kids left I showered and got dressed and hit the movies with some friends. We saw Robin Hood, I don’t recommend it for theater watching. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t spectacular. And Russell Crowe is no Robin Hood. But regardless it was nice being out with no obligations of rushing home. Today I am not so sure what is going to happen. I will probably do some more housework just because I can get so much done on my own (and it’s done how I like it lol). Tonight I am going to see Death At A Funeral with some friends. I have a free movie pass that needs to be used and I figured now is a good time. But until then I am kinda looking around and thinking “Now what”. I don’t want to spend all day in front of the tube or computer (hahaha isn’t that ironic, cause here I sit!). But I don’t have much cash to go out and do anything. And ironically, I don’t want to go anywhere where there is alot of kids. Sound silly? I don’t know, I just know that when I am on a “vacation” from mine I sure as hell don’t want to be around any other kids. Partially because I will miss mine but also because I need a break.
Well, some breakfast dishes are waiting to be cleaned so I shall go. Enjoy your day!
P.S. I got some washcloths up for sale on the Isis Blessings page!
