As promised here are some pics from yesterday! It was a great ceremony and I almost succumbed to tears at one point but I held it back.
They started out doing some singing and signing. I was very happy to learn that one of the teachers had been teaching them to sign, that is something I want to keep up!

Then the kids came out to get their diplomas and they wore caps that they handmade (love the caps!). In this pic Alex is on the very end, we got stuck sitting on the wrong side of the room lol.
He was VERY proud of his diploma, every time I suggested a picture he would grab it and pose with it lol!

With his teacher Ms. Sheila
And with the Director Ms. Williams

After the ceremony there was a lunch with chicken, green beans, and salad. They also had a big graduation cake, which I unfortunatley did not get a picture of. I did nab one of Alex enjoying his peice though!
We had such a great time yesterday. Alex really impressed me. Before school he showered (with some slight resistance), put on sauce (aka man’s deodorant), and dressed himself. I think he felt quite grown up yesterday lol. THe ladies at the daycare have been wonderful and are very supportive of our decision to homeschool. Closer to the end Ms. Sheila and I are going to get together so I can hear from her anything that I may need to work on with Alex that perhaps he is struggling with and any suggestions she has for the first year. We have 16 days left of school for all 3 and all of them are itching for those days to go by quickly. The girls still have their awards ceremony to go through which the school does right before the last day. I am sure I will be snapping some pics then too.
