It’s Wednesday and I am sooooo tired. We have awards’ for the girls’ today at noon. Tonight I have a meeting. Tomorrow are class parties and Friday at noon it’s all over. Saturday we have a birthday party AND a graduation party for Sean’s daughter. Saturday of the following week we also have another birthday party for a neighborhood kid. WHEW!
So I have been slightly panicky about entertaining the kids until we begin homeschooling. For one I still have a few things to be done around the house to get things in order so we can start. So they are helping with that. Alex and Claire decided they wanted to go to the bible vacation school for 4 days in a couple weeks so I am signing them up for that. After that? Well I signed us up for free bowling at our local lanes. We still have to pay for shoe rental but it’s still so much cheaper. So we will be doing that once a week. Also one of our theaters is offering free movies @ 10 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting next week through August. So I have picked out movies we will go watch up through July. We also have membership to the Nature Center so we can do that once a week as well. Not to mention various parks. I think the park days with the homeschool group are throughout the summer so that will get them a chance to meet some new kids and make pals.
What else is coming up? OY! Our Litha rite is Sat June 19th and I will be singing with the choir. In July I have a double birthday party to plan at the bowling alley for Alex and Kyle. Alex LOVES to bowl and that’s what he wanted for his birthday so we will do a double party and everyone can have a good time. I need to price out the party the next time we go in to bowl.
