Going Live?
So I have been giving this some thought and would love input. I have a YouTube Channel but haven’t really utilized it because honestly it’s a pain in the butt to upload vids and then do the descriptions and all that crap. It used to be pretty simple but not these days. So I was poking around Ustream and thought how much easier that would be. Basically it’s a live stream from my webcam. So my thought was doing a live show once a week. It would be a 1 hour Q&A session where people can send in emails or tweet instantly to me questions about whatever. Anything about my area, my life, paganism, homeschool, blogging, or pretty much anything else. Something that I can do to really engage with you all on a more personal level. If it went well than I would take in suggested topics and go to doing a show two days a week, one for Q&A and one for a suggested topic by you all. But I really need to know if there would be an interest in this. I mean it would be silly to create a channel and then have 0 viewers. So please comment here and let me know your thoughts on this new idea.
I love the idea. My only question is if this is something that has to be watched live or can it be viewed later as well?

Excellent question. I will be able to record the live show for later viewing. I cannot find how far back they will archive or if I will be able to embed any videos here on my sidebar. Thanks for asking!
I love the idea, because I’m all for any input I can get on homeschooling and Pagan parenting; but personally, I don’t consume a whole lot of video or podcasts because they fundamentally bore me. I can read 100x or more faster than people can talk. Empires rise and fall and glaciers advance and retreat in my mindstream in the pauses in normal speech.

I am the same way on some topics. I also think it depends on the personality of whoever is in the vid or podcast. Not interesting enough and I get bored. LOL Hopefully I am not the boring one!
