The Greatest Novica Giveaway Ever

I was asked by the lovely people at Novica to review their site and host an amazing giveaway. Novica is in association with National Geographic and works to unite artists from around the world to buyers who are looking for unique handcrafted items. From their website:

One of the most amazing things about the site is that they have created a social forum to unite the artists with the buyers. You have the ability to really network and connect with an artist from across the globe and they have the ability to develop a personal relationship with their buyers. I think it’s simply a wonderful use of social media.

Buying from them is easy, once you figure out what you will get. I spent four days perusing and trying to narrow down what it was I was going to purchase. There are so many beautiful and wonderful items available, it is very difficult for one to narrow it down. I finally was able to settle on a pair of earrings.

And as a family gift to us all (aka a great homeschooling tool) I got us a drum.

Shopping was a breeze. I had a slight problem with my debit card and called Customer Service. They were extremely nice, patient, and helpful. The problem itself ended up being something on my end and only discovered that through their help. One thing to note about the use of a debit card on their site; there is the initial charge taken out of your account, it is put back into your account, and then taken back out once the item ships to you. It’s a precautionary measure to ensure the funds are available.

Now for the part I know that you all are waiting for. I am going to give one lucky reader a $75 gift certificate! Here is how you enter:

Leave a comment here about the must have item you must have from Home Decor or Jewelry. Be sure to include your email (if not linked to your name in comment) and your Twitter name (if you have one). 2 Entries

Extra Entries (they do not count if you do not leave a comment first!)

1. Blog about this giveaway including a link to this post,  put your post link in a separate comment and you will get 10 entries.  Be sure to encourage your readers to let me know that they came from your blog and you will get an extra 2 entries per referral in addition to your 10.

2. Tweet “I just entered to win $75 to go shopping http://bit.ly/aRaEZI  @PaganMomBlog” ONLY ONCE PER DAY and receive 5 extra entries. Any multiple tweets in a single day will not count.

3. Vlog about the giveaway, include a link to this post, and link your vlog in a seperate comment. You will get 10 extra entries. Encourage your viewers to let me know they came from your vlog and you will get 2 extra entries per referral in addition to your 10.

4. Become a fan (or already be a fan) of my facebook page and get 5 extra entries.

Now for the rules, because there are always rules aren’t there?

1. This giveaway ends Friday August 6, 2010 @ 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced by Sunday August 8, 2010 in addition to being emailed that they had won.

2. Winner will have 48 hours to claim their gift certificate code. After that time I will remove their names and entries and redraw for a new winner.

3. Winner will be chosen by Random.org

4. Gift certificate code expires 10/30/10 and does not cover shipping and handling (which isn’t much!)

    I love the concept behind NOVICA. So many unique and beautiful items to be found there, one of my favorites is the “Love of Nature” ring made of wood and silver. Ok, so it’s a dudes ring, but I would totally wear it :) It’s gorgeous! Thanks so much for the chance to win this!

    I love browsing Novica. The chess sets are great. I think I like the Benjarong jars because my mother would have liked them too.
