Splitting Up
So today hubs is taking Claire to church……finally! He seems to have forgotten what he said to her well over a year ago. He is just too lazy to get up in time for church (Sunday School starts at 9:45, how dare she ask he get up so early!). So as Molly was enthusiastically talking about doing drum circle at Temple, when the drums had arrived, Claire began asking if she could go. Kyle asked her if she would rather go to Church and she said “Duh, yes but you never want to go”. So he promised to take her this morning. He is still in bed without having moved an inch. I will be prepared to take her with me but I do not want him letting her down!
Meanwhile the two others and I will be going to Temple. Alex is excited just cause he wants to bang on a drum all day. Literally. Not kidding. I have had to play bad mom and make him put it up and he pouts all the way until the next time he can play it again. Molly is almost just as bad. She just sulks on the computer until I let her play. I suspect the car ride over will be noisy. Thank the Goddess it’s a 10 minute drive! I am just glad to be heading back for Devotional. Last Monday I was so rejuvenated and on top of things I would like to continue that trend. Of course it waned by Thursday so maybe I should suggest a mid week Devotional? LOL!
This week will be a bit exciting. We are taking a trip Wednesday to Hickory (about 1.5 hrs East) for Zhu-niverse tour. Which we also are doing next Saturday in York, SC. How fun is that going to be???
