I Have An Ulterior Motive
Aren’t I just awful???
So about this whole Faith Blog contest thing. I have noticed that a couple more pagan blogs are in the contest now. So it got me thinking and here is what I am wanting to see. I want all of the pagan blogs to get into the list of the Top 25. It’s no longer just about my blog making the list, nope this is about my personal agenda to make sure that minority faiths are seen as what they are….faiths. Because in a general setting, when faith comes up in conversation it is assumed you are talking one of the big 3. (Unless that general setting is say some sort of pagan outing/meeting/session). I don’t mind being considered a minority. I don’t mind if someone thinks my faith is “silly”. Just give me the same consideration of being a faith! And isn’t this just one more way to educate the masses? I have gotten so many hits in the last week from Circle of Moms website which tells me that people are curious. Either curious on how I got on the list in the first place or curious on how I am getting that many votes (although not near as many as some of the others). And when they have been hitting my site they start perusing around. If we get more pagans listed in that Top 25 they are going to get a couple different perspectives. Let’s face it, I might be the “face of paganism” for some but I am not the only face. Let’s take this opportunity to show how diverse we are and how normal we are!
So below I am going to list links to each of the pagan blogs that are listed in the over 100 (I lost count) blogs listed on the contest page. Each link will open a new window to make voting and coming back here that much easier. I encourage you to vote for each one but how you vote is totally up to you. You may hold the opinion that one of us isn’t so deserving of a vote or perhaps you don’t feel one of us should represent you (because really that is what we are doing). That’s okay, vote how you want to. I am just putting this out there and if you agree with me then voting for all of us will be easy peasy.

Thanks for the plug, I have done the same on the blog and on Facebook. I am happy that so many minority religions are on the list, and that so many of us are in the Top 25.

Been voting daily and appreciate your list here! Time Warp Wife may not realize it but her bashing was a blessing in disguise becuase it has brought more attention to the fact that we are out there and we are not what they think we are! We need to find our voice, but also take care not to return the nastiness, even though it was hard because some buttons were pushed pretty hard in the comments that followed her blog. Standing together and proud to be by the side of my Pagan sisters and brothers!
