Where Did October Go?
Hello lovies! Pardon my accidental time away. I am not quite sure what happened. All I know is that my real life became so much more demanding. Any time I thought I would have a chance to sit and write, something else would pop up and I would put blogging off once more. I have had topics in mind to discuss and I plan on getting those here soon. I think blogging, at this point, will occur about twice a week. With clergy studies, local projects that I am working on, the Temple, and family my time is pretty sparse and yet I still want/need the time to sit and write things. So the goal is twice a week. If I can arrange it more often, I will. We shall see.
How was your October? More importantly, how was your Samhain? Ours was intense. Daddy took the kidlets out for trick or treating while I participated in ritual with my Temple folk. I can’t go into it much just yet, I will soon though. It was amazing and wonderful and something I must share. Just not yet.
The hubs took me out last night to a few stores. Turns out he was on the mission to buy me more Halloween stuff to decorate the house with next year. I could have told him it would be difficult since it was Nov 2. But, he had to learn for himself. However, we did manage to score some new skull lights that blink to the Halloween theme song, a talking mirror, and a shaking spider victim. Should make next year interesting!
Okay my lovies. I must get ready for work. More soon, I promise!

I can’t wait to hear more about your Samhain

your halloween decorations sound cool – that is one thing I didn’t get to do this year was shop after halloween for sale items oh well there is always next year
my oct was great – turned 56 !!
I’ve blog for years – but the old one sorta fell to way side and I stopped updating it much – it was a journal of my journey to get healthy (308 to 135 lbs) so once I hit my goal I was off doing things and didn’t blog much – but now I’m very excited to be back blogging and will still include some healthy lifestyle type posts, it will also be about other areas of my life
I signed up for a retreat (will be attending this coming weekend) and giving my first intro. to qi gong healing presentation – so I learned a little power point to create a nice slide show to follow along with the presentation
and started my new blog!!!
I’m very interested in clery studies – would like more info on it so I can look into it. I have been a wiccan for over 30 years, and used to have my own circle and do lectures at college campuses as an invited guest – but that was over 15 when I put most of that aside in order to focus on raising my daughter. I am now doing healing work – though I am still wiccan, I am mostly solitary, but enjoy occassionally attending open group events. Now that my daughter is older, I am looking for ways to be re-connect and do more helping others.

Good luck on the presentation!
The clergy studies is through the Goddess Temple here in town. I am already a Priestess in terms of rituals and devotionals but we are studying and mutually designing our curriculum to encourage people to take on a full and legal role as clergy. So we won’t just be doing rituals anymore. We will be able to counsel and present ourselves to our entire local community as faith leaders. Matter of fact I have already decided that the main focus of my clergy work will be interfaith work so that hopefully I can bridge the glaring gaps between us and the other religious groups in the area.
