Baking Fever

I like to bake. Like a lot. Usually cakes, cookies, and pies. Breads are a once a year type thing and only when I am really dying for homemade bread. And since I typically want to bake the sweet stuff, I end up not baking very often so that we aren’t living off of cookies all the time. I usually end up baking for certain Holy Days (Mabon, Samhain,  and Yule) and whenever I have a bunch of excited energy to release.

Since I am coming very close to Type A Parent Conference next week, I am plotting some baking right before I leave. I spent some time on Pinterest yesterday and decided on a few yummies. I got my eyes set on some Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookies, Cream Cheese Mints (not technically baking but close enough), and Nutella Cookies. Of course I will do some posts on how they turn out. But first, I HAVE to get certain things done over the next 3 or 4 days before I starting baking anything. I really need; to finalize press release on our next charity drive for the Temple, print paperwork for charity drive to be at Midsummer rite that I won’t be present at, finalize my vows for ordination that will be reviewed by my peers at our next clergy meeting, go shopping for stole material at next clergy meeting, answer a few emails, send a few emails, get laundry done, start packing, and keep up with my day job. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?
