Last night was our 80′s night Ubisoft party. I am proud to announce that my team came in 2nd place! I convinced our “emcee” to play Venus, which is my strongest song on Just Dance 3, and my teammates did a pretty good job keeping up with me. So we got some serious points and I couldn’t have been happier or more out of breath.

So last night we ended up coming up to the room around 11:40 pm but we didn’t get to sleep  until almost 1am. So what time did I wake up this morning? 5 freaking am! You would think that without needing to be up and moving until the 9am breakfast hour AND going to bed around 1 am, that I would sleep a little bit. *sigh* nope. Damned internal clock. Yesterday was just a fabulous time. I hate to repeat myself every year but I have had more people come up and say “Oh I recognize you, I was wanting to meet you!” than in previous years. I have also spoken more with some companies about possible future work with them (oh wouldn’t that be nice?).  I hadn’t done that in the past but since having joined Clever Girls and picking up some work here and there, I am feeling more confident about seeking out the work. And I am finding that the pagan label is actually less of a stigma for some people than what one will assume.

There is so much more to say about the conference but I am a bit overwhelmed at the moment and just needed to release a wee bit so that maybe I could go lay down again. I would do the tv or something but with 3 other roommates, one never knows what will disturb someone. And I don’t want to be that rude person who disturbs other people sleeping. Maybe I will go take a walk.
