Loving The Sponsors

This is my final Type A Con recap, I promise. I have to give shout outs to the sponsors though. So many brands and businesses still ignore the power of the blogger and so we gotta give love to the ones who get it.

Ubisoft - It’s no lie, I am an Ubisoft fan girl. Not in that crazy Apple sort of way where no other company compares and that I ONLY buy Ubisoft products. But in that way that I appreciate the relationship they have developed with bloggers. And BOY do these people know how to throw a party. I am hoping they actually become a staple at Type A because everyone seems to really enjoy the dance parties, even those that don’t get up and dance. Overall, they enjoy being there as well. Some sponsors have the most unhappy looks on their faces but whenever I peeked over at Scott, he was smiling and talking and having fun right along with us. That really stuck out to me.

Zone Perfect – One of the yummiest sponsors! I am having a hard time picking my most favorite flavors. Double Dark Chocolate tops the list as of right now (mostly because I am all about the dark chocolate). The Blueberry Pomegranate, Toasted Coconut, Cranberry Almond, and White Chocolate Macadamia (although I usually hate white chocolate) are other favorites of mine. Several times the bars came in handy when I was waiting to go to dinner or needed a snack to tide me over until lunch.

About OneThis is a new company whom happens to employ some Type A Veterans. I have a free account to go sign up for, that I haven’t done yet because I suck. Basically it’s a way to help manage your time online. Everything from grocery receipts (for budgeting purposes), to scanning in important documents you don’t wish to lose (they have bank-level security), to a family calendar to keep you all sane. For most everyone at the conference, this was a perfect fit. And as an aside, I won a Windows Phone from their booth!  That doesn’t have to do with my opinion, I was researching About One before the conference. But I just had to tell you because I will finally be back in SmartPhone Land again!

NC Sweet Potato Commission - I didn’t even know such a thing existed! I am also not a fan of sweet potatoes. Well……until they had me try a sweet potato turkey meatball that is. Normally I think of candied yams when I think of sweet potatoes and that to me is the most disgusting thing ever (it’s a texture thing people!). But this group is all about learning to use sweet potatoes for more than just that. And that is something I can get behind! Honestly, I can’t wait to make some more stuff with sweet potatoes.

Tealightful – a new concept in the form of the age old Tupperware Party. Yes, it’s a Tupperware Party but with Tea. And Scones. And dips. Okay so if you been around any length of time, you KNOW I am all about the tea. So I was very excited to speak with Charlene and get some samples (post coming soon!) to taste. A local lady is going to have a tea party, possibly in August, and I have been invited. I squee’d. Even better? Charlene mentioned that in upstate NY she has quite a number of pagan clients. See? We are a market that is coveted by companies!

This year those are my favorite sponsors. Please check them out, give a little love, and contemplate working with these companies. Many of them WANT bloggers to work with them. We are the force in marketing.
