Pinterest does not allow you to block anyone. It's in their Support documents as well as the emails I received from them. They refuse at this point to even allow any blocking feature, including not allowing for group invites (which is all I wanted anyway).

G+ is simply put, NOT Pinterest. I liked my boards because I could organize rituals on there and visually see how it came together. G+ has burned me in that it is a link farm and I am not too interested in a link farm. It also doesn't really have a board format unless I decide to take pictures of everything and put it into an album.

If Pinterest ever allows any user controls when it comes to groups, then I will consider activating my account again. But until then, I would rather not have the hassle.

It's a fairly new feature on Pinterest. I agree about FB, I have only been put into a group once without prior knowledge and that really ticked me off.

I wasn't aware that you were able to interact with people like that on Pinterest. I don't get invites and I'm not sad for it. Pinterest is my internet file cabinet and nothing more. It's a shame people spam everything online so much that it becomes more of a hassle than a helper. I'm sure you can block people on the site; every site has that feature. Maybe you can try Google+, I have it but I haven't messed with it enough to make proper use of all its tools. Good luck hon and bright future my dear!

That bites! I didn't even know Pinterest had groups, no one has ever sent me an invite. You are complete right about people being respectful about sending invites to others. Facebook has a similar problem with group invites because it just automatically adds you.
