Yo Momma So Extraordinary
Remember back in the day when Yo Momma jokes were insulting and yet funny? Well those days are long gone! Now, Zachary Reese and Ethan McCreadie have put together a book full of Yo Momma compliments. Except. They aren’t really compliments at all. While most of them are pretty nice, the manner in how they are written just falls flat on it’s proverbial face. They are written in the fashion of the Yo Momma jokes which is probably the reason why it fails so miserably. The entire book is very tongue-in-cheek and doesn’t actually compliment anyone. Perhaps I am expecting too much? I never was one who enjoyed a Yo Momma joke back in the day. Nor did I find myself even so much as cracking a smile to any of these modern day versions. Normally, I enjoy a book from Quirk Books. Until now. This is not one I would recommend to anyone. Unless of course you are in the mood to stab yourself in the eyes with a spork. But then why grab the book? Just stab yourself with a spork and skip the middle man.
