When it comes to colors of candles for candle magic, I often recommend that you use the color you feel drawn to use. Below I have listed what I have in my Book of Shadows. Feel free to experiment and find what is right for you!

For the Altar:

Altar candle – light blue or purples
Goddess candle – red, gold, or yellow
God candle – white, silver, or blue
East (air) – yellow
South (fire) – red
West (water) – blue
North (earth) – green

For Candle Magic:

White – balance, spiritual enlightenment, cleansing, clairvoyance, healing, truth seeking.
Yellow – creativity
Gold – attracts powers of cosmic influence, money, luck
Orange – creativity, ambition, self-confidence
Pink – romance, friendships, femininity
Red – health, passion, love, fertility, strength, courage, willpower
Silver – removes negativity, stability, aids psychic abilities
Purple – power, success
Brown – earthy, eliminates indecisiveness, study, telepathy
Royal Blue – joviality, loyalty
Light Blue – spiritual color, aids in devotional meditations
Blue – wisdom, harmony, inner light
Emerald Green – attracts love, fertility
Dark Green – ambition, greed, jealousy
Green – prosperity, fertility, success, money, harmony
Grey – neutral, negates negative influences
Black – banish negativity
