The Pentacle
Pagans view the Pentacle as an amulet of protection, a symbol of balance, and a representation of the elements and the Gods. Pagans use the pentacle with the point facing up, not to be confused with some Satanists whom use a pentacle with the point facing down. Ours is not a sign of evil! Each of the five points represents one of the five elements:
Earth – bottom left point, represents stability and physical endurance.
Fire – bottom right point, represents courage and daring.
Water – right point, represents emotions and intuition.
Air – left point, represents intelligence and the arts
Spirit – top point, represents all and the divine
The circle around the star represents Goddess & God and the continuing circle of life.
